20th February 1893
Born at 8 Station Road, Dagenham (now Chadwell Heath). He was the second youngest son of James & Julia Eleanor Warren.
CENSUS 1911 taken on 2/3 April shows:
1) James Warren and the youngest of his nine children, Albert Arthur (13) are living alone at 10 Kirks Cottages, Church Lane, Dagenham (Julia had died in 1907)
2) Alfred & Amy (Warren) Kendrick and their 2 sons and Amy’s sister Ellen and brothers William & Thomas Samuel are all living at 1, Progress House, High Street, Dagenham.
3) Miller Smith and family have moved from London to Stoughton – a village on
northern edge of Guildford. Two years later, their daughter, Norah Lilian meets
Thomas Samuel Warren for the first time in the Wooden Bridge pub – which still exists.
31st December 1913
Marries Lilian Isabel Smith (acutally Norah Lilian, 18), (born in Biggleswade, 30th June, 1895, daughter of Henrietta and Herbert Smith) at Parish Church, Wimbledon. He (21) is living at 6 Goldcroft, Yeovil, Somerset . She was at 4, The Green, in Wimbledon, Surrey.

Norah Lilians father, Herbert Alfred (Miller) Smith (65) dies at Middle House, Dorking Road, Epsom (certificate says he was living at 19 GreenWays). He was buried in an unmarked paupers grave K514 Epsom Downs Cemetery

Norah Lilians mother Henrietta (65), known as Yetta by her sisters and Granny Grizzle by her grandchildren, dies at 58 St Philips Avenue, Worcester Park. Her death is notified by her only son, Alured Berkeley Hamilton Smith (33) of 163 Church Lane, Charlton
26 December 1938
Thomas Samuel does not attend his eldest son’s wedding but the bride (May Edith Steel) confirms that Norah Lilian does as she is still living at Greenways on Wells Estate, Epsom
1 June 1946
Norah Lilian Warren (50) dies suddenly and is cremated. She has been separated from Thomas Samuel for some years. Her last address was 78 Stanley Road, Croydon as housekeeper. Her death was notified by Thomas Samuel in nearby Mayday Hospital.
17 March 1947
Thomas Samuel (54), a widower for 9 months, marries his housekeeper, a Scottish born spinster named Isabella Fraser (31) at Epsom Register Office
24 January 1948
Dennis Graeme Warren (28) marries Ada Georgina Cutts (19) at Epsom Register Office
24 July 1948
Beryl Molly Warren (20) marries Peter John Gilbert Pratt (27) at Morden Register Office
27 February 1954
Trevor Warren (19) marries Elsie Boddy (21) at Epsom Register Office
25 March 1957
Thomas Samuel (64) dies in St Barts Hospital, London. He died in agony as he was poisoned by Uraemia (kidney failure) and Nephrotic Syndrome (Liver Failure) plus rheumatic heart failure. He is buried in unmarked grave S.265 at Epsom Downs Cemetery.

Violet Norah (Blue) Rides marries Ray Karley (37) at Epsom
Register Office.

Denis Graeme (70) dies in Electrona, Tasmania, from complications of his heart brought on by emphysema

Thomas Horace (81) dies in Epsom General Hospital & is
cremated
The four younger children are all still alive:
Violet (Blue) is living in Avalon Beach, Sydney, Australia and sister Beryl lives a couple of doors away in the same street. Sadly, Blue’s husband Ray Karley died as recently as 17th July 2009 (he was 84)
Beryl’s husband, Peter Pratt died in 1983
Ronald emigrated to Canada and still lives in the house he bought with wife June Turner in Ancaster in 1958.
Trevor lives close to the New South Wales / Queensland border having gone back to Australia (after returning to UK with wife Elsie & children and then getting divorced).
